Ogun State Government has fixed Saturday, July 20, 2024, as closing date for the ongoing sales of application forms into its 42 flagship secondary schools for the 2024/2025 academic session
The State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu who announced this in a statement made available to Edu-Biznews on Wednesday, asked interested Primary Six completers and parents to visit the Ogun State Education Revitalisation Agenda (OGSERA) portal via, https://ogsera.ogunstate.gov.ng/apply and log in with their Learner Identification Number's (LIN) credentials
He added that parents and agents willing to register learners from outside the state should click on Create Account button to register a profile for login.
Arigbabu in the statement, directed applicants to select Screening Application under the Enrolment Management menu and click on Create Application from the Action menu, enter your LIN to validate Learner's records and select from the filter, 'From Schools Outside Ogun State' to enter your profile details.
The Commissioner urged applicants to click on 'Make Payment' button to make online payment of N5,000.00 registration fee per learner, directing them to fill, submit their application forms and take printed copies to their schools of First Choice for Principal's Signature, in preparation for a Screening Test, which would come up on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the School of their First Choice.
He asked applicants outside the state to submit a copy of their last three terms results for approval before consideration for admission, adding that they would not be able to print their Application Form until LIN verification is conducted.
