Nigerian Army Kicks-Start Recruitment For 87 Regular Recruits Intake



The Nigerian Army Recruitment Exercise for the 87 Regular Recruits intake for Trades/ Non-Trades men and women online registration is now ongoing Friday, May 3, 2024 and would end on Friday, June 7, 2024.

Permanent Secretary in the Ogun State Bureau of Cabinet and Special Services, Mr. Olarenwaju Saka who announced this in a statement at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, stated that application form could be accessed online at https://recruitment.army.mil.ng, with all applications screened online, while qualified applicants would be shortlisted afterwards.

He added that applicants must be single, Nigerian by birth and must possess a valid National Identity Number (NIN) or Bank Verification Number (BVN), just as they must be medically, physically and psychologically fit, free of any criminal conviction, as well as be between the ages of 18yers and 22 years for Non-Trades men and women, while 18years to 26 years would be for Trades men and women, stating that the required height is 1.68 metres for males and 1.65 metres for females.

According to the him , all applicants must possess a minimum of four passes at not more than two sittings in West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE), General Certificate of Education (GCE), National Examination Council (NECO) and National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB), while Trades men and women must have Trades Test/City and Guild Certificate.

It added that shortlisted applicants from the online screening should report for Physical Screening Exercise at the State Recruitment Centre, 35 Artillery Brigade, Alamala Barracks, Abeokuta, from Thursday, June 20 to Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
