Strive Hard For Academic Excellence,Shun Malpractices- Vice Chancellor Charges LASU Students




Vice Chancellor of the Lagos State University Ojo, Prof.Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello has charged students writing the ongoing first semester examination to strive hard for academic excellence and shun all forms of malpractices 

The Vice-Chancellor who reminded the students of the Institution's zero tolerance for malpractices, gave the charge on Tuesday in her message marking the commencement of the examination  for the 2023/2024 academic session

"Be reminded also that we have zero tolerance for examination malpractices and any form of vices during the examinations. Therefore, be of your best behaviour as you strive to give your very best", she charged 

She described the writing of the examination as significant milestone in their academic journey in the university, urging them to see the examination as opportunities to showcase their depth of knowledge and critical thinking skills 

"Examinations are not merely assessments of your academic prowess; they are opportunities for you to showcase your depth of knowledge and critical thinking skills. But beyond that, they are opportunities for your elevation in the academic sojourn"

"As you sit for your exams, be reminded that members of our faculties have equipped you with the tools and knowledge necessary to excel. Believe in yourselves, trust in your abilities, and approach each examination with confidence and determination while exercising discipline in all you do", she encouraged them


The Vice Chancellor however assured the students of the university's commitment to the culture of academic excellence and support to the success of every student 

"I wish to assure you that you are not alone on this challenging journey. Our faculty, staff, and support services are always on ground to assist you every step of the way. Do not hesitate to reach out if you require assistance or guidance – we are committed to your success and well-being. I wish you all the very best in your examinations and beyond", she assured
