The Federated Chapel of the Ogun State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has is celebrating the recent appointment of the highly respected journalist , Mr. Kehinde Onasanya as the new Head of Service in the State.
Chairman of the Chapel, Comrade Juwon Opayemi, and the secretary, Comrade Babalola Gafar, expressed the chapel's heartfelt felicitations to Onasanya in a statement on Tuesday
"This groundbreaking announcement marks a historic moment as Onasanya becomes the first journalist to ascend to this esteemed position in the state", the chapel stated
The Chairman highlighted the significance of his appointment, emphasizing the milestone it represents for journalism professionals in the state.
He lauded Onasanya's dedication and competence, underscoring his exemplary track record in the field of journalism.
"We are confident that Mr Kehinde Onasanya as a thoroughbred journalist has enough wealth of experience and leadership qualities to effectively carry out his new role as Head Of Service "the chapel stated.
