The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) National Planning Committee for the maiden 2024 Nigeria Public Relations Week (NPRW) holding in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, is seeking the services of Mobile Video creator, Social Media Manager and Content Writer as volunteers
Those who are interested in being part of the historic event holding at the June 12 Cultural Centre between April 22 and 26 are enjoined to apply as volunteers for the successful hosting of the event

About the Event
The Nigeria Public Relations Week convened
by the Nigerian Institute of .PublicRelations
is a five-day event to be held at theJune12
Cultural Centre in Abeokuta. It brings
together PR professionals ,industry leaders,and future talents for a week of learning, networking,and inspiration.
What we Expect
Content Writers:
Skills:Strongwritingskills,(Pressreleases,articles,
socialmediacontent) ability.to work
independently and meet deadlines.
Tasks:Develop engaging social media posts (captions, Instagram content) summarizing key
takeaways from sessions,cardiologist
capturing event highlights
Video Content Creators:
Skills:Basicvideographyskills (experience with
mobile video graphics plus!) ,creativity in
capturing interesting footage ,and ability to use basic video editing software.
Tasks:Capture short interviews snippets with
speakers or attendees, interviewed
create short video caps showcasing event highlights
What we Expect
Social Media Managers:
Skills:Excellent social media management skills,.experience publishing posts, engaging with audience comments, and monitoring social media conversations.
Tasks:Postcontentcreatedbytheteam,monitor social media conversations engage with the audience, and utilize relevant hashtags to increase reach.
Graphics Designers:
Skills:Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g.,
Adobe Photoshop, Canva)
Tasks:Design visuals for social media promotions based on content from Content Creators, design
social media graphics for live blog updates and event recap posts.
General Requirement
Must reside in Abeokuta with easy commuting access to the June12 Cultural Center
Passionate about Public Relations and social media.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have a smartphone or a laptop
What We Are Offering
Valuable experience in the PR Industry and opportunity to learn new skills
A certificate of participation.
A stipend of 25,000naira for the entire week of volunteering.
