All is now set for the 13th Gateway International Trade Fair holding at the M.K.O Abiola Trade Fair Complex, Laderin in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital beginning from this Friday, April 19, 2024 till Monday April 29, 2024.
The State Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, Mr. Adebola Sofela who expressed the readiness in a statement made available to Edu-Biznews on Thursday, stated that the Fair being organized by the Ogun State Government in collaboration with the State Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (OGUNCCIMA) would afford local and international exhibitors the opportunity of showcasing a wide range of products.
He added that this year’s edition themed, “Achieving Economic Prosperity Through Business Connection, Trade and Investment” would be officially declared open by Governor Dapo Abiodun on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 .
Sofela noted that the 13th Gateway International Trade Fair would be an improved edition as there would be different innovations including raffle draw programme through which ticket owners would stand the chance of winning the grand prize of a two-bedroom bungalow as well as other prizes.
The Commissioner also stated that, as part of efforts to ease movement of participants and visitors to the Fair, free buses would be available to convey members of the public from different routes including OPIC Roundabout/Kuto, Lafenwa/Olomoore/Ita-Osin and Adatan/Fajol/Obantoko.
“We enjoin Nigerians to be part of this year’s edition of the Gateway International Trade Fair.
The State government in collaboration with OGUNCCIMA has put in necessary measures to ensure this edition surpasses all the past ones through increased product offerings and different initiatives,” the release noted.
As indicated in the release, there would be entertainment village where people would have a place to relax with delicacies, beverages and music at the Gateway International Trade Fair.
