Nigeria’s first private broadcast group Daar Communications PLC, owners of AIT and RayPower broadcast stations with her national network has announced its partnership with the maiden Nigeria Public Relations Week holding in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital between April 22 and 26, 2024
President and Chairman of Council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations(NIPR),Dr. Ike Neliaku who revealed this in a letter sent to the institute, said that the country's foremous private electronic media would provide pre-event, coverage and post event support services for the weeklong event
The Nigeria Public Relations Week convened by the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations will commence on Monday 22nd April 2024 with an interactive session planned with the Mass Communications students of tertiary institutions in Ogun, Lagos and other states in South West Nigeria.
The recently endorsed interactive session for the traditional rulers in Ogun State as blessed by the chairman of the Ogun State Council of Obas-His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, the Akarigbo of Remoland will simultaneously take place at the Obas Complex, Governor's office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
The Nigeria Public Relations Week is expected to attract more than 2,000 delegates made up of eminent government functionaries corporate citizens, youths and other critical stakeholders.
