Akarigbo, Alake, Awujale Call For Collaboration Of Ogun Assembly With Gov Abiodun To Sustain Economic Growth





Prominent traditional rulers in Ogun State including the Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Adewale Babatunde Ajayi ,Alake of Egbaland, Oba (Dr.) Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo and Awujale  of Ijebuland, Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Kayode Adetona have called for collaboration between members of the State House of Assembly and Governor Dapo Abiodun led executive arm of government, so as to fasttrack even development and sustain economic growth in the state 

The three Paramount rulers made the call  while receiving the entire State House of Assembly members led by the Speaker, Right Honourable Oludaisi Elemide who paid them  separate courtesy visit in their  respective palaces in Sagamu, Abeokuta and Ijebu-Ode

The monarchs commended the  lawmakers for the seamless manner through which they elected their new leadership, acknowledging that their visit was first of its kind.

They urged the lawmakers to take advantage of their unity in collaborating with the executive arm to further advance the overall development of the State.

Earlier in his remarks, the Speaker said that the entire State lawmakers decided to carry out the familiarisation visit to the monarchs to identify with them and tap on their wisdom.

According to the Speaker, the monarchs' wealth of experience in the administration of their various communities were worthy of acknowledgement and should be learnt by the lawmakers in keeping abreast with the demands of their constituents.
