Plateau State Government has announced the removal heads of its tertiary institutions , just as the government dissolved the Governing Council of the State University, Bokkos and that of others with immediate effect
Secretary to the State Government, Architect Samuel Jatau who announced these in a statement on Monday, obtained by Edu-Biznews, listed other affected tertiary institutions to include Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi; College of Education, Gindiri; College of Health Technology, Zawan and College of Health Technology, Pankshin.
The SSG in the statement, asked all the affected heads to hand over all government property in their possession to the next most senior officers of the institutions immediately.
Governor Caleb Mutfwang also approved the cancellation of recruitments earlier conducted by the tertiary institutions in October 2022 and early 2023
He assured that applications for an all-inclusive recruitment exercise for all tertiary institutions would be advertised in the media for qualified individuals to apply
