Ogun Monarch, Olutori To Mark 20Yrs Of Coronation With Donation Of Food, Motorcycles, Solar Lights





The Olutori of Itoriland in Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun state, Oba Abdulfatai Akamo will be celebrating  20 years of his coronation beginning from this Thursday, 22nd of February, 2024, with donations of foodstuffs including  50 bags of rice, 50 bags of beans and 50 bags of gari to orphanage homes in Abeokuta, the state capital.

Oba Akamo made this known on Tuesday to newsmen at his palace in Itori , saying God has been very wonderful to him, in the past 20years of his reign 

"I love giving to people, God has been very wonderful with me. There will be free feeding for any one that come to the palace within the anniversary period",the monarch said


"20 individuals will also be decorated with chieftaincy titles while some communities in my domain will get solar lights. Three lucky person will go home with okadas too'", he added 

The traditional lamented the role of politicians in the process of chosen an Oba relegating the traditional way of picking an Oba.

"Many land grabbers  have today been made an Oba, the salary of a first class Oba is 48k, for someone who is not rich and does not have an alternative, he rely on grabbing people's land and other vices", he concluded
