"Following a tip-off from the residents of the community that the company emits carbon-monoxide which is hazardous to health, prompted immediate action by the agency to embark on the tour and shut down the company".

"Lives of your host community should be a major priority to you; desist from practices that can be injurious to people’s health and or affect businesses, as the present administration will not take it easy with any environmental law defaulter", he said.

The Director, Special Duty and Climate Change in the agency, Mr. Tunji Egbemuyiwa reacting to the ugly situation, described the atmosphere of the company as being harmful to the health of the workers and the community, advising residents to report any illegal or unsafe facility within their localities to the appropriate quarters to avert environmental disaster.
