Seventh placed Bendel Insurance of Benin-city with 27points were also humiliated 2-0 by relegation threatened Bayelsa United of Yenegoa who currently in the 19th position with 17points while Enugu Rangers thrashed visiting Gombe United 4-1
Rangers are in the ninth position with 25points while Gombe United are occupying the 14th position with 20points, ahead of the 16th placed Sports Lagos who drew one-all with the visiting Shooting Stars of Ibadan currently in the 11th position with 23points
Sunshine Stars of Akure failed to take advantage of playing at home as they were forced to a goal less draw by the visitors, Niger Tornadoes of Minna
With the result, the Akure Gunners are in the 12th position with 22points ahead of the 13th placed Tornadoes with 20points
The match involving bottom placed Heartland of Owerri with just 16points and the 15th placed Kwara United with 19 points has been postponed till later date, likewise the other match fixture between Rivers United of Port-Harcourt and visiting Akwa United of Uyo
