Dr Kasali, Wife Retire At MAPOLY, Ogun Teaching Service Commission After Distinguished Services



A former Head of Department, Business Administration and Management at the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta (MAPOLY), Dr. Taofeek Aremu Kasali on January 2024 officially retired from the service of the Institution, after years of dedicated service 

Similarly his wife ,Alhaja Raliat Kasali had  recently retired from the Ogun State Teaching Service Commission as Vice Principal in December 2023

The couple bids farewell to their respective careers in the education sector within a month interval.


The retirement of Dr. Kasali, a seasoned Economist and Chartered Management Consultant, comes as he attains the statutory age of 65, marking the end of an illustrious career.

Dr. Kasali, a distinguished professional, served two terms as the Head of the Department of Business Administration and Management from 2007 to 2011. 

The Polytechnic don held the position of Director at the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Centre for Entrepreneurship Development from 2020 to 2022, showcasing his versatile contributions to the institution.


The Rector of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Dr. Adeoye Adedeji, who expressed gratitude for Dr. Kasali's dedicated service, described him as a diligent staff member during a ceremony held to honour his retirement.

During the Juma'at Service at the Polytechnic Mosque, Chief Imam Alhaji Nojeemdeen Sodiya emphasised the transient nature of life. 

Alhaji Sodiya highlighted the key elements for a successful end, emphasising trust, obedience to God, transparency, accountability, perseverance, and endurance among others.


The Chief Iman congratulated Dr. Kasali, and his wife, Alhaja Raliat Kasali as they embark on new chapters in their lives, after their retirements at the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic and Ogun State Teaching Service Commission. 

He said the education community would continue to acknowledge their invaluable contributions and wished them fulfilling retirements.
