The Lagos State University Centre for General Nigerian Studies (CGNS) has concluded arrangements for holding of its first ever Education Summit on the Ojo main campus of the university this Monday , 4th of December, 2023
The three-day historic summit which has its theme: *DIASPORA GAINS AND THE QUESTIONS OF MODERN DAY SLAVERY IN AFRICA* will end on Thursday, 7th of December 2023.
Venue of the summit according to the organizers, is Aderemi Makanjuola Lecture Theatre, Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos.
Chief Host of the summit which commences at 09:00am, is the Vice Chancellor of the university,Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello while Host is Prof. M.O.B. Mohammed, Director of the University's Centre for Nigerian Studies
The Keynote Speaker is Prof. Siyan Oyeweso from Osun State University while the Lead Paper Presenter is Prof Ronnie Adebisi Frazer-Williams, Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies, University of Sierra Leone.
