Gov. Abiodun Approves Appointment Of Four New Perm.Secs

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State 

has approved the appointment of four new Permanent Secretaries to further strengthen the  quality of service delivery of the State Civil Service 

The State Head of Service, Mr Kolawole Fagbohun who announced this in a statement made available to Edu-Biznews on Tuesday, listed the appointees to include, Mrs. Roseline Jacobs, Mr. Samuel Oyeleye, Mrs. Kehinde Akinola and Mr. Oladipupo Ogunfowora.

The release indicated that

According to the statement, Jacobs  was until the appointment, the Director of Administration and Supplies, GL.17, Ministry of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs; Oyeleye was the Director, Planning, Research and Statistics, GL.17, Ministry of Information and Strategy;  Akinola was the Director of Protocol, GL. 16, Bureau of Protocols and Ceremonials, while Ogunfowora was the Director of Administration, Ogun State Television (OGTV), GL 16.

The Head of Service said in the statement that the  appointment was in tandem with the provision of Section 208(c) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and was based on merit, professionalism, inclusiveness and seniority, as well as their success at the Pipeline Leadership Development Programme conducted for Directors as part of eligibility for appointment into the position of Permanent Secretaries in the State Service.

Fagbohun however enjoined the new appointees to demonstrate dedication, diligence and selflessness more than before in their new roles and relentlessly pursue excellence in Service, as they join hands with other stakeholders in actualising the 'Building Our Future Together' agenda of the present administration.
