Team-Ogun contigents numbering two hundred and fifty five (255) including officials and athletes on Wednesday departed Abeokuta, the State capital for the 7th National Youth Games (NYG) holding in Asaba, Delta State
Permanent Secretary in the State Ministry of Youth and Sports, Dr. Yusuff Quudus addressing the contingents including
fifty nine(59) Male and eighty two (82) female, charged them to be of best behavior at the event, saying they are the kaleidoscope of Ogun State.
He encouraged them to marry their strength, competence and the trainings acquired to get as many medals as possible.
One hundred and fourty one (141) athletes will be competing in twenty five (25) Sports including Athletics, Ayo,Badminton,
Boxing,Chess, Cycling, Darts, Football (Female), Golf, Gymnastics,Judo,Karate
Para Table Tennis and Rugby
Others are Scrabble, Shooting, Squash,
Swimming,Table Tennis,Taekwondo
Tennis, Weightlifting, Wrestling, as well as Para Athletics and Deaf Athletics.
