Governor Dapo Abiodun has forwarded ten additional nominees to the Ogun State House of Assembly for consideration and confirmation as Commissioners in his proposed cabinet for the second term in office
Clerk/ Head of Legislative Service, Mr. 'Deji Adeyemo who made this known in a statement made available to Edu-Biznews on Tuesday, asked the nominees to appear before the lawmakers this Wednesday, 13th September, 2023 at 2.00pm prompt.
The new nominees include five returnees, Hon. Adeleye-Oladapo Adijat, Engr. Taiwo Oludotun, Hon. Ilori-Oduntan Olufemi, Engr. Dairo Oluwagbenga and Mr. Oresanya Oladimeji and five fresh names
Hon. Owootomo Bolu, Mr. Sofela Adebola Emmanuel, Hon. Balogun Ademola, Mr. Osunbiyi Tunde and Mr. Fagbayi Sesan.
They are to submit 30 copies each of their profile and other credentials to the Office of the Clerk by 10.00am prompt.
It will be recalled that the house had earlier on 3rd of August, 2023 confirmed the nomination of eight former Commissioners including the Chief Economic Adviser, Mr Dapo Okubadejo and others Oluwasina Ogugbade, Dr. Tomi Coker, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, Jagumolu Jamiu Omoniyi, Engr Adebowale Akinsanya and Olaolu Olabimtan who are still serving as Special Advisers in the Governor's cabinet
