Beyond Limit Academy Emerge Champions Of MKO Abiola U-18 Cup

Ogun State flag bearers,'Beyond Limit Academy,  have emerged champions of the recently concluded 5th edition of MKO Abiola  National Under 18 Football Championship in Abeokuta, the State capital, after beating Kwara State side  by a lone-goal in the competition organized by the Youths Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON)

The tournament's best striker, Kparobo 
 Arierhi's goal in the first half for the Remo Stars FC of Ikenne-Remo Feeder team  was enough to separate both teams in a final played on Saturday at the MkO Abiola International Stadium in Kuto, Abeokuta 

State Chairman of YSFON, Alhaji Waheed Lawal  who was full of praises for the successful hosting the championship, described the competition as a benchmark for age-grade competitions where true raw talented players are discovered for the national teams and  clubs in the Country's top flight Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL)

He expressed satisfaction with the quality of participation of 12 teams comprising of two teams from each of the six geo-political zones in the country, assuring that the tournament has come to stay with a promise to package a better edition in  2024 

Also speaking ex-International, Kadiri Ikhana however expressed dissatisfaction with the low turn out of fans and non-representation of the Ogun State Government in the competition's final organized to celebrate an icon and pillar of Sports in Africa, late Moshood Kashimawo Abiola who was from the state and contributed so much to the development of sports in the the state
Pix Kparobo  Arierhi Emerged as the best striker with five goals 

Ikhana who made history as a coach with Enyimba International of Aba breaking the jinx of winning the CAF Champions League in 2003, commended YSFON in the state for organizing the competition to discover more talented players for the development of Nigerian football 

Kwara State side as the best team losing to Beyond Limit Academy from Ikenne-Remo Ogun State
