Remo Public Servants In Ogun Commiserate With Alaperu On Wife's Demise




Indigenes of Remoland, who are in the Public Service of Ogun State Government have commiserated with the Alaperu of Iperu-Remo, Oba Adeleke Basibo, over the demise of his wife, Olori Kehinde Basibo.

          
The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Community Development and Cooperatives, Mr. Fatai Ogunlana, who led an eight-man delegation on a condolence visit to Alaperu’s palace in Iperu, with the President, Remo Senior Civil Servants, Ogun State, Mr.Abdul Olayinka, prayed God to grant the monarch the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
       
Responding, Oba Basibo appreciated the delegation for identifying with him during the trying period, admonishing them not to relent in their responsibilities towards the development of the area.
          
According to the traditional ruler,’ ’it is a good thing to always remember your roots, especially when one is opportune to do so’’.
