Chairman of the Ogun State Football Association, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi has described the choice of Hon. Bukola Olopade as the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee as the most suitable man for the task ahead of the 2024 National Sports Festival tagged "Gateway Games",
Majekodunmi in a congratulatory message to the LOC Chairman, expressed confidence that Olopade's experience in the Sports industry would rub off positively on the games, saying that the State Government will record massive success at the end of the game
"Congratulations to Chief Bukola Olopade, this appointment is one that cannot be faulted, the right man for the job is in charge and it's only natural to expect results", he. Stated
"I also congratulate other members of the LOC, the team is filled with top personalities with finesse in their area of specialization, on behalf of the football family in Ogun State, we wish the state government and the LOC success in the forthcoming games"
Majekodunmi, an Executive Board Member of the Nigeria Football Federation also called on sport stakeholders in the state to rally round the team in a bid to ensure that Gateway Games 2024 becomes a reference point in the annals of sporting events in the country
