The Egba/Yewa Zone of Al-Mu'minaat, an esteemed organization dedicated to empowering believing women has concluded arrangements to hold its Al-Mu'minaat Week in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, beginning from this Friday 18th of August to 26th of August, 2023
The event which has its theme,*"The Builder""* ,promises a dynamic array of activities that celebrate the pivotal role of Muslim women in shaping societies.
The week-long event according to a statement made available to Edu-Biznews by its organizers, will showcase a variety of engaging programmes that highlight the diverse contributions of Muslim women to their communities and beyond.
The week kicks off with a special Jumat service, underscoring the significance of faith in the lives of Muslim women.
On 19th August, this Saturday, there will be Unity Women's Day holding at the Owu Central Mosque Hall on Quarry Pepsi Road, Abeokuta
The day which has its central theme, "Muslim Women: The Nation Builder," will be explored through enlightening lectures and discussions.
The weeklong activities include Humanitarian Visit which is the core aspect of Al-Mu'minaat's mission of providing service to humanity
During the week, participants are expected to engage in a meaningful humanitarian visit, embodying the spirit of compassion and empathy.
Similarly the Al-Mu'minaat Week features, an informative Health Caravan that covers vital topics such as arthritis and healthy living. Free medical tests will also be offered to promote a healthier community.
There will also be a dedicated media talk session for participants on how Muslim women can effectively use media to contribute positively to society.
Al-Mu'minaat group will equally engage in impactful community service initiatives, demonstrating the organization's dedication to uplifting the lives of those around them.
The event culminates on August 26th with a formal closing and a Professional Forum. The topic, "My Child, My Mirror," will address the profound influence that mothers have on the development of future generations.
Al-Mu'minaat Week 2023 is a celebration of the multifaceted roles that Muslim women play as catalysts for positive change in society.
