The burial arrangements for Nigeria's former military leader, Late Gen. Oladipo Diya have been fixed for Friday, 28 July 2023 to Sunday, 30 July, 2023.
According to programme of activities released by the Ogun State Government, a Christian Wake will hold on Friday, July 28, 2023 by 4:00 pm at Tanimowo Villa, Oladipo Diya Road, Oke Aremo, Odogbolu, Ogun State, while funeral Church Service is scheduled for Saturday, July 29, 2023 by 10:00 pm at Cathedral of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Oladipo Diya Road, Odogbolu, as a parade of honour and Interment is slated to hold the same day by 1:00 pm.
The programme also stated that Outing and Thanksgiving Service have been fixed for Sunday, July 30, 2023 at the Cathedral of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Odogbolu by 10:00 am.
The late general served as second in command in the Late Gen. Sani Abacha' military regime between late 1993 and early 1998 and was at a time Military Administrator in Ogun State between 1984 and 1985 during Buhari/Idiagbon military regime
