Ogun State Chapter of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has felicitated with Mr. Seyi Johnson on his recent election as the President, Wheelchair Basketball in Nigeria.
State Chairman of the association, Alhaji Akeem Akintunde and Secretary, Michael-Azeez Ogunsiji in a congratulatory , expressed confidence in the ability of Johnson to pilot the affairs of the federation, considering his exposure as an administrator and experience under the tutelage of former Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Ogun State and CEO of Nilayo Sports Management Limited, Bukola Olopade
SWAN urged the new president to use his connection to revive dwindling fortune of the sport through private/public sector partnership
The message reads in parts;

"We urge you to revive the dwindling sport by soliciting private partnerships to change the face of the game."
