No fewer than 429 Ogun Pilgrims have landed at Prince Muhammad Bin Abdul-Azeez International Airport, Medina in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this year's hajj activities
They landed at exactly 10:36am Saudi time which is 8:36am Nigeria time.
The pilgrims were conveyed by Flyness A330 Airline from the Muritala International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos at 10:45pm on Monday
Reacting through a telephone interview, the Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Salau Dauda, expressed happiness for the arrival, saying the pilgrims would not disappoint the officials, State, and the country at large.
According to him, "the second batch is already being airlifted as of press time".
He emphasised that the last batch would be airlifted on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 10:45pm, recalling that 1,234 and three officials would participate in the Hajj exercise.
