The management of the Ogun State Ministry of Housing has been charged to always protect the interest of Civil Servants by supporting government in the delivery of affordable housing to support the government to the people.
The State Head of Service, Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun gave the charge while hosting the management of the Ministry on a courtesy visit to his office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta
The Head of Service says Civil Servants depend largely on their monthly income in acquiring assets through loans and mortgage system
He emphasised the importance of assisting Civil Servants when proposing a friendly-housing policy before the government.
"Let us always love and consider ourselves when certain decisions are taken, we all know that housing is a commodity that everyone wants. Government can only act on our suggested policy", he submitted.
Speaking earlier, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Engr. Sakirudeen Salaam congratulated the Head of Service on his appointment, assuring that the management and staffers of the Ministry would intensify effort in the implementation of government policies and programmes in the housing sector of the State.
