Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has celebrated the juju music maestro and an evangelist, Ebenezer Fabiyi Obey popularly as 'Obey Commander' and astute politician cum socialite, Chief Niyi Adegbenro, on their 81st birthday respectively
Abiodun in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Kunle Somorin, described the duo as icons in their respective fields and have recorded unparalleled feats, which have brought pride to the state.
He said while Ebenezer Obey has brought global attention to the state via his philosophical Juju genre of music, Adegbenro, through politics and community service, have continued to be legacy of Adegbenro dynasty.
He lauded the duo for being illustrious sons of the state who are living to make giant marks in history, adding that their contributions to the state and the country would remain indelible in the minds of the people.
While wishing them happy birthdays, the governor prayed for long life and good health for them
Abiodun added that Ogun would continue to celebrate its icons, noting both Chiefs Fabiyi and Adegbenro, remain doyens and role models for the youths, not only in the state, but in Nigeria
