Ogun State Government has assured business owners and residents of the Industrial town of Agbara of the speedy completion of the ongoing Atan-Lusada-Igbesa road , so as to fastrack rapid growth of the area
The State Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele gave the assurance in Agbara, during a stakeholders’ engagement with entrepreneurs, investors, and residents of Agbara/OPIC/EDU in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area.
The Deputy Governor, who was accompanied by some State Executive Council members, including the Commissioners for Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Ade Akinsanya, Industry, Trade and Investment, Mrs. Kikelomo Longe and Transportation, Engr. Gbenga Dairo, as well as the Managing Director, Ogun State Property Investment Corporation, Arch. Abiodun Fari-Arole, said the government was doing everything possible to complete the road.
According to the Deputy Governor, “Ado-Odo/Ota is the gateway to the nation's economy, therefore the present administration will leave no stone unturned to ensure its development”.
In their various summations during the Panelist session, some members of the State Executive Council, enumerated the present administration’s government plan for the development of Agbara, noting that it would be connected to all the Seaports and Airports in the country.
Earlier in his remarks, Chairman, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Musa, affirmed that the State government has been a supporting pillar to the growth of industries and investments, hence the reason for the engagement to determine if there was the need for any urgent intervention.
