Both public and private schools in Lagos State have been asked to proceed on Mid-Term holiday as from this Friday, 24th of February for the second term of the 2022/2023 academic session
The State Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Folashade Adefisayo who announced the break as obtained on website of the Lagos State Government, said that the Mid-Term holiday would hold between Friday February 24 and March 3, 2023
Director-General, Office of Education Quality Assurance (OEQA), Mrs. Abiola Seriki-Ayeni who issued the statement on behalf of the ministry says that the directive is in line with the Harmonized Academic Calendar for 2022/2023 Session amended and approved by the Commissioner for Education
The State Government maintains that compliance is mandatory for all schools below the tertiary level in the State.
The Director-General also implored school administrators, proprietors and parents to follow the Lagos State Government’s social media handles as well as OEQA website via www.oeqalagos.com for more information and the latest development
