Energy Companies, Agro-Allied Industries In Abeokuta For 2023 Trade- Fair




Service providers in the Nigeria's energy sector and Agro-Allied companies will be exhibiting their products at the 12th Gateway International Trade Fair, holding at the Trade Fair Complex in Abeokuta  this Friday, 3rd of February and ending on Monday 13, 2023 

The trade fair which has its theme 
"Energy and Agriculture as Panacea to Economic and Sustainable Multi-Sectoral Growth: Ogun Pathway to Economic Prosperity", is jointly organized by the Ogun State Government and the 
State Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (OGUNCCIMA) 
 
The State Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, Mrs. Kikelomo Longe , during a recent press conference held to herald this year's edition of the Fair, expressed the readiness of the State in hosting
highest number of exhibitors ever in history of the trade exhibition

Longe assured  that the Fair would be the best in the history of the event, as efforts were in top gear to host exhibitors with variety of product offerings, as well as participants from all walks of life.

Represented by the Ministry's Permanent Secretary, Dr. Olu. Ola. Aikulola,  the Commissioner said the government was mobilising various industries operating in the industrial clusters across the State to ensure improvement in the presence of industries exhibiting their products at the event.

She stated that the Ministry was walking towards recording standard trade fair, as notable businesses had been invited to grace the programme with their products and services, saying, ’’this is in addition to the efforts of the Planning Committee. I believe therefore that this year's Fair will be far better in terms of preparation and participation compared to what we had last year".

The Commissioner, who reiterated the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration's commitment to continue to support the growth of the Chambers and the event, noted that the present government had reconstructed the perimeter fencing of venue of the Fair at the M.K.O Abiola Trade Fair Complex, installed a 500KVA transformer, among other renovations.

Also speaking, the President, OGUNCCIMA, Engr. Mike Akingbade said the Trade Fair over the years was a reliable international platform for different categories of business to showcase their products and services, with the presence of over one million consumers.

Similarly, a former OGUNCCIMA President, Iyalode Alaba Lawson lauded the State government for its unwavering  obligations to make the Trade Fair a memorable event.
