The Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has asked each of the intending pilgrims for the year 2023 Holy Pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to pay the initial deposit of N2million for the spiritual exercise
The Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Salau Babatunde who made this known in a statement made available to Edu-biznews on Thursday, said sales of registration forms for intending pilgrims who wish to perform the exercise had commenced
He said that the initial deposit should be made pending the release of the final Hajj Fare by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
The release added that forms and tellers could be obtained at the Accounts Department of the Board’s Secretariat Complex, Block B, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
The general public, particularly Muslims were enjoined to note that the Hajj Savings Scheme (HSS) designed for those who intend to build their savings over a period of time towards performing hajj is ongoing.
