Renowned International Researcher and former Deputy Vice Chancellor (Development), Federal University of Agriculture,Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Prof.Lateef Oladimeji Sanni has been inducted as a Fellow of the global high ranking and prestigious International Academy of Food Science and Technology (IATFoST) at the ongoing World Congress in Singapore.
Sanni shone like galaxy of stars at the global event, projecting FUNAAB and the Continent to the enviable pedestal of global visibility as the only qualified Scientist from an African Institution.
The former Dean of College of Food Science and Human Ecology (COLFHEC), FUNAAB, in addition to his Induction also carved an historical niche for himself,after being ranked among the 13 class of Outstanding Food Scientists in the world, comprising of 27 Scientists from 20 countries.
The erudite Scholar's feat lend credence to the latest global ranking of FUNAAB as one of the best ten (10) Universities in Nigeria with Sanni ranked as the second best researcher in FUNAAB and 43 best researcher in Nigeria according to the 2023 AD scientific ranking of 5193,h-index of 37.
The former Country Manager of Cassava Adding Value for Africa C.ava has published 122 Journal Articles,30 books, 30 conference proceedings,1patent and recorded highest citation in Google Scholar 5,294 h-index of 37,Scopus 1526, h-index of 20 and Research Gate(3365,h=index 33.11)
