Team Ogun Contingents numbering 125 (one hundred and twenty five) stormed Osun State, to compete with other South West States for tickets in the zonal elimination team events, ahead of the 21st National Sports Festival (NSF), tagged "Delta 2022".
The State Director of Sports , Mrs Iyabode Rotimi n a statement made available to Edu-biznews by the Spokesperson for the State Sports Counçil,Bola Giwa, said
the contingents departed Abeokuta, the State capital on Wednesday
She revealed that the contingents comprised of players and officials of 6 (six) team events including the Basketball (Male and Female) teams,
Beach Volleyball (Female) team,
Football Players (Female),
Handball (Male) team as well as
Hockey (Female) team and Volleyball (Male) team.
Already some of the Sports Associations in the individual events had organized trials to select athletes that will represent the State at the coming National Sports Festival
