Ogun State Government has finalized holding of its town hall meetings to enable stakeholders across the four divisions of Remo, Ijebu, Yewa and Egba divisions in the state, have inputs into preparation of the 2023 budget proposal
The State Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Mr. Olaolu Olabimtan who made this known in a statement made available to Edu-biznews on Friday, said Governor Dapo Abiodun had approved the official take off of the annual town hall meeting beginning from Monday next week in Ijebu-Ode where people from Ijebu division will be part of
preparation for the year 2023-2025 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and 2023 Budget spending
The Commissioner added that the town hall meeting would hold at Bisi Rodipe event centre, Igbeba, GRA, Ijebu-Ode with participants expected to be seated at the venue by 10.00am
Those invited for the meeting include officers on the post of Assistant Directors and above in the State's Public Service and representatives of interest groups across the State
Others are Traditional, Religious and Political leaders; Trade and Market associations; Professional bodies, Civil society groups, Student Unions, among others
