Members of the Ogun West caucus in the State House of Assembly have praised Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, the candidate of the All Progressive Congress for his intervention in the education sector and rural electrification projects of Governor Dapo Abiodun's administration in the state
The senator according to the lawmakers, complimented the efforts of government in the education sector with the donation of 1,500 chairs and tables to some of the public schools, in addition to19 transformers donated to communities to enhance the electrification projects in the state
The members including Honourables Jemili Akingbade representing (Imeko-Afon), Musefiu Lamidi (Ado-Ota 2), Bolanle Ajayi (Yewa South), Wahab Haruna (Yewa North 2 )and Adegoke Adeyanju( Yewa North I), gave the commendation, in their separate submissions under personal explanations at the plenary presided over by Speaker Olakunle Oluomo at the Assembly Complex, Oke- Mosan, Abeokuta.
The Lawmakers acknowledged other people-oriented programmes which included the donation of four 18-seater buses to the Market women, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), League of Imams and Council of Baales.
They described Senator Adeola as a worthy ambassador and experienced legislator whose empowerment programmes cut across the senatorial district
The lawmakers added that these gestures clearly demonstrated that the Senatorial candidate would perform exceedingly well when elected as Senator at the 2023 poll in the State.
They however tasked other elected officials to emulate his gestures of selfless service to humanity.
Responding, the Speaker noted that Senator Adeola's gesture without being an elected Senator was a signal to the fact that he would do better when elected as Senator in the State, while urging other Senators to emulate by carrying out and showcasing their empowerment programmes for the people.
