The Ogun State Bureau of Information Technology (BIT) in collaboration with STEAMcard AFRICA is set to begin a three-week free summer classes for children between the ages of eight and 16 years, from Wednesday, August 17 to Friday, September 9, 2022.
Special Assistant, ICT, Mr. Olukunle Akibola who announced this in a statement, stated that the classes under the themed: "STEAM: Building Smart Cities" would feature seasoned speakers, career talks, training exhibitions, fun activities, and interactive Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) opportunities leading to the creation of innovative technologies among the children.
Akibola enjoined parents to register their wards at TechHub, Kobape, Abeokuta.
