Gov.Abiodun Condoles With Ogun Assembly's Speaker Oluomo Over Mother’s Death

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State says he received the news of the death of Alhaja (Olori) Tawakalitu Agboola Oluomo, the mother of the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Taiwo Olakunle Oluomo, who died on Monday with great shock and saddened heart.

The governor in a statement made available on Monday to Edu-biznews in Abeokuta by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Kunle Somorin, described Mama Oluomo as a strict disciplinarian, devout Muslim and a woman of impeccable character who raised her children in a Godly way.

According to him, "the Late Alhaja Agboola Oluomo was a source of strength to the family and those she came in contact with during her life time"

"Mama was a rare gem, a supportive wife, a loving mother who would stop at nothing to ensure the welfare of her children, members of her immediate community and society at large", he added

"She made positive impacts on the lives of people in her community as the Iya Suna of Ifo and a Queen of that great kingdom in Egbaland. She will be greatly missed".

" I sympathize with our amiable Speaker and brother, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo. I know this is indeed a trying period for him. It is my prayer that the Almighty Allah will grant him and his siblings the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss", he said.

The Governor whilst praying for the repose of soul of the deceased, said the greatest tribute to pay to her memory would be to emulate Mama Tawakalitu Oluomo’s life of selfless service to God and humanity.
