NPFL : Remo Stars, Enugu Rangers, Enyimba Battling For Continental's Ticket



Remo Stars of Ikenne-Remo, Enugu Rangers and Enyimba International of Aba are still battling for a place in the Africa's Clubs competition, with three matches to the end of the season in the Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL

The Gbenga Ogunbote tutored side who narrowly lost 2-3 to homeside, Katsina United, still maintained their third spot on the table with 53 points behind second placed Plateau United of Jos with 61points and newly crowned champions, Rivers United with 71points 

Enugu Rangers who lost by a lone-goal to host, Kano Pillars, also retained their fourth position with  52points while Enyimba moved up from sixth to fifth placed with 51 points after disappointing goalless draw at home with relegation threatened Heartland of Owerri who also climbed up from 19th to 18th spot with 41 points after week 35 matches in the top flight league on Sunday

Lobi Stars playing at home in Makurdi worsened situation of  Dakkada who moved deeper into relegation water from 18th to 19th position with 40points  on the  table while Sunshine Stars of  Akure managed a 2-1:won against visiting Mountain of Fire and Miracles MFM of Lagos who are languashing at the bottom of the table with  36 points 

In Lafia, Nasarawa United recorded a 2-1 win against visiting Rivers United of Portharcourt who already won the league with the remaining three matches to spare 

Shooting Stars and Abia Warriors settled for a two-all draw in Ibadan while Gombe United recorded a 2-1 victory against visitors, Wikki Tourists of Bauchi
