A Peoples Democratic Party PDP presidential hopeful, Hayatu Deen Mohammed says he has what it takes to make Nigeria's economy compete globally with best economies in Europe and America
The Investment banker and Diplomat was addressing Ogun State delegates of the PDP at its State Secretariat in Abeokuta on Thursday, ahead of the party's presidential primary on 29th of May in Abuja
According to him, Nigeria with its rich deposit of oil and gas should not be experiencing irregular power supply
Hayatu deen who recalled greatness of the country in the field of education, qualitative health care facilities, promised to restore Nigeria's lost glory in health, education and security, if elected as the next president in 2023
The presidential aspirant speaking with newsmen on the sideline of the meeting, revealed that he would declare a national emergency on security, constitute a committee comprising leaders of thought across the country
He added that the committee would look at problem of Insecurity as it affects the various parts of the country and come with a solution which will lead setting up of crack Security Squad to tackle banditry, Boko Haram and other forms of Insecurity which he described as self inflicting
Hayatu deen said Nigerians deserve a president who understands the dynamism of economy, various tribes, some body who is fair, equitable irrespective of their religion and tribal differences
The State Chairman of the party, Honourable Sikirulah Ogundele assured the aspirants of the delegates support , to ensure a qualitative standard of living
