Ogun State Waste Management Authority (OGWAMA) has concluded arrangement to introduce a digital payment platforms that will boost service delivery in terms of waste collection and management,following its collaboration with a private internet firm, AOA Windscreen Limited
Special Adviser to the Governor and Chief Executive Officer of the Authority, Mr. Ola Oresanya who made this known to newsmen in Abeokuta, explained that the partnership would provide door-to-door payment service opportunities to residents after proper enumeration.
Oresanya stated that the partnership which is in form of e-billing, e-payment and e-receipt would eliminate hardship being faced in payment for waste services, saying the system would bring onboard new clients, tagging of all clients, e-inquiries, or complaint process for proper monitoring of waste disposal.
He urged households, commercial and industrial outlets that keyed into the waste-management payment reforms to take advantage of the stress-free innovation for better service delivery
He added that the drive would also increase the revenue generation efforts of OGWAMA.
Responding, the Managing Director, AOA Windscreen Limited, Mr. Cole Adeboyejo said the new agreement would make waste management processes faster and easier
He assured clients of credible, veritable, and safe digital automation of their payment devoid of estimated billings.
