Remo Stars Football Club (RSFC) midfielder, Shuji Oshobe has expressed optimism about chances of his side securing the maximum three points against visiting Rivers United of Port-harcourt when both clash this Sunday in the Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL week nine match
Oshobe in a chat with newsmen, said that the Sky Blue Stars would defeat his former side in the match slated for Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State
“I am hopeful that we will put an end to the unbeaten run of Rivers United on Sunday, no doubt they are a good side, but I am very positive that we will carry the day”, he declared
“I played there for 2years, they play good football, but we are battle ready for them, it won't be easy because they are one of the best sides in the league this season, the highest goalscorer is also from their team.”, Oshobe added
“We will try our best possible to get the maximum points against them this weekend” the mid-fielder said
Rivers United being tutored by former gaffer of Remo Stars, Fatai Osho are currently topping the Nigeria's top flight league with 18points, the same points with their host, the Sky Blue side who will be seeking to avenge the defeat suffered in the four previous meetings between both teams in the 2017 and 2019 seasons
