Governors Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State and Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State and other key stakeholders have met with President of the African Development Bank AfDB, Dr Akinwunmi Adesina,to facilitate implementation of
the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones, SAPZ projects in Nigeria, being funded by the continental bank
They were in a meeting on the implementation of the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones, SAPZ which was held on Tuesday at the AfDB headquarters in Abidjan, Coted-'Ivoire.
Ogun is one of the four states in Nigeria invited to the AfDB headquarters in Abidjan and one of the few shortlisted by the AfDB for the first-phase funding and implementation of the SAPZ.
The project is expected to boost Nigeria's economy, through the development of the agricultural production sub-sector of value chains in the country
