TASCE Seeks Increase In 2022 Budget To Run ND, HND Courses




Tai Solarin College of Education now Sikiru  Adetona College of Education Science and Technology, Omu-Ajose is seeking upward review of its budgetary provision in the 2022 Appropriation Bill being considered by the Ogun State House of Assembly

Provost of the college, Dr. Adeola Kiadese who made the request before the Finance and Appropriation Committee of the house over the weekend in Abeokuta, explained that the increase would enable the Institution to make adequate budgetary provision for take off of its  new academic programmes in National Diploma ND and Higher National Diploma HND being proposed for new session in addition to the existing courses in Nigeria   Certificate In Education NCE 

The provost appealed to the lawmakers for an increase in the recurrent expenditure, particularly the over head cost component currently put at N46.2 million, in order to meet up with acreditation requirements of the National Board for Technical Education NBTE for the running of the proposed courses 

 He said that the Institution intended to expend N313.76million of its total budget size of N1.14 billion, on capital projects which includes N172.89 million for construction of 250 capacity auditorium
