Ogun State Property And Investment Corporation OPIC has proposed N1.7billion for completion of 259 housing units, including 42 units of three bedroom semi detached houses under Phase two of King's Court Estate in Abeokuta, the state capital
The Managing Director of the Corporation, Mr. Abiodun Fari-Arole made this known on Wednesday while defending OPIC budgetary provision in the 2022 budget estimate before the Finance and Appropriation Committee of the State House of Assembly at Oke-mosan, ,Abeokuta
He listed other housing projects to include completion of three bedroom apartment of 18 flat each at Warewa, MTR Garden in Isheri which has 180 housing units as well as for acquisition of 25 hectares of land at Ijebu-Ode Epe Expressway and 20 hectares of land at Siun near the state capital
Fari-Arole added that another N415million would be expended on construction of bridges and access roads to the existing estates in Agbara and King's Court Estate in Abeokuta while N125million would be used for rehabilitation of OPIC Hebadquarters
He revealed that N6.4 billion had been projected as revenue for the Corporation in the coming fiscal year
