Ogun Information Digitalizes Operations,Runs 24hrs Feedback Unit In 2022

Ogun State Ministry of Information and Strategy says it is concluding arrangement to run a 24-hour feedback via its social media platform to ensure a two-way communication channel  between the government and the residents of the state

The Commissioner, Hon Abdul-Waheed Odusile unfolded the plan on Tuesday while defending his Ministry budgetary provision of N601million in the 2022 budget estimate before the members of the State House of Assembly Committee on Finance and Appropriation  at the Assembly Complex, Oke-mosan, Abeokuta

He also said that the ministry had taken advantage of the new media (social platforms) in ensuring that the production of a State owned weekly newspaper, the Nigeria Gateway was used to further sensitize the populace on government's policies and programmes.

Odusile further underscored the need to ensure the immediate upgrade of equipment and other infrastructure at State owned media houses -the State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC) and the State Television (OGTV) as well as the State Printing Corporation to aid their performance.
