Aminat Inter'I College Celebrates 100% Performance In English Language, 19 Other Subjects In 2021 SSCE

Aminat International College, Abeokuta AICA, a leading private school in Ogun State on Sunday 5th of December, celebrated  exceptional performance of its students in the recent 2021 Senior Secondary Certificate Examination SSCE conducted by the National Examination Council NECO 

Edu-Biznews observed that the 52 candidates presented by the school located at Gbonogun, Obantoko in Odeda Local Government Area  of the state, recorded 100 Credit  performance in English Language and 19 other subjects in the examination 

The subjects include Civic Education, Data Processing, Dyeing and Bleaching, Catering Craft Practice, Computer Studies, Financial Accounting, Insurance, Government, Islamic Studies, Literature in English, Yoruba Language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology

Other subjects with Credit performance are Agricultural Science, Geography, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing and Arabic Language while 98 performance was recorded in Mathematics, 90percent in Commerce and least performance of 87percent in Economics

Principal of the College, Alhaji Mikail Anifowose who was highly elated over the performances of the out-gone students for the 2020/2021 academic session, urged them  during the 16th  veledictory service package, to Imbibe the teachings the culture of moral and academic excellence  acquired in the last six years of their stay in the school

"It is satisfying to note that all students who took the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination had impressive scores. In addition, about 95percent of our students had Higher Education Potentials in the 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination WASSCE and NECO SSCE and now in various Higher Institutions in and outside Nigeria", he stated

According to the principal, "the school has also won many prizes in Competitions over the years"

He noted the support of the Olatunji Educational Foundation whose Advisory Council Board donated various prizes to reward excellent performance in the different categories in the college including Overall Best Junior School Student, Best Senior School Student, Best Teacher, The Principal of  the College and The Proprietor of the College

The principal appreciated the unlimited support of the co- proprietors of the College, Alhaji Nurudeen Yusuff, Alhaji Mutiu Yusuff and Mr.Idris Yusuff for sustaining the ideals of the College established 21years ago by Late Alhaji Chief S .A Yusuff (Moore) to be neighbourhood, non-elitist school unlike Others established to make profit

He equally lauded the effort of the staff and management Committee of the College for the success recorded  so far by the 52 students at the Senior School Three (3) and 45 students in Junior School Three (3) 

Guest Lecturer at the service, Dr.Daud Amoo Alaga in his paper titled "Youths Restiveness :A Metamorphosis of Parents and Government's Negligence", urged parents, schools, mosques, churches and media whom he described as social socialization agencies to design means of advocacy aimed at making youths to become critical thinkers while stressing the needs for the out-gone students  to make words in Quran and Hadith to guide their daily conduct

Aminat International College  created a conducive learning environment for its students who enjoy a well equipped  science laboratory, computer room, home economics laboratory and well stocked bookshop
