The Nigerian lost on Sunday morning to Moregard of Sweden by 4 games to 2, 13-11-11-9, 2-11, 11-4, 12-14, 11-7
Aruna who is rated 19th in the world, made history at the ongoing competition, as he became the first African to reach quarter final stage, after an impressive 4-3 victory over another Sweden player, Karlsson on Saturday morning at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, United States
The African had won the first set 11-9, while the Swedish player claimed the second with 6-11 before he eventually won in the remaining five sets
