Ogun State Inter Party Advisory Council has dismissed the claim by some leaders of opposition political parties that the council has been bought over by the Prince Dapo Abiodun's led All Progressives Congress APC administration in the state
The State Chairman of IPAC, Asiwaju Abdul-Lateef Adedamola Adeshina in a statement made available to Edu-Biznews in Abeokuta, denied ever collecting financial gratification from any politician in the name of the council
Adeshina who made the clarification while reactiing to a story in an online media over the weekend that the council is facing crisis over the alleged financial inducement from the government
Adesina who has been having a running battle with Comrade Abayomi Arabambi of the Labour Party LP for the control of IPAC in the state, described the story as a complete misinformation being spread by some uninformed members
He however promised to put the record straight and make the facts known to the public soon.
"We will call a World Press Conference to set the record straight, and we shall make our stand known to the public. Hopefully, we will do that with the 18 registered political parties, and the 22 political parties that are in court.",he added
Adesina enjoined the public to ignore any fake claim by any individual or group alleging that IPAC promised loyalty to any political office holder.
