Kouakou opened scoring in the 11th minute, Ben Ali doubled the lead for host in the 17th minute before Harzi increased the margin in the 27th minute while Chawat completed the demolition in the 40th minute with the fourth goal before halftime of the match
Bayelsa United had earlier won the first leg of the tie by a lone-goal in Yenegoa but failed to hold on their lead in the return leg
Nigeria's other flagbearers in the competition, Enyimba International Football Club with a goal advantage in Dakar,take on their Senegalese opponents in Aba in a return leg of the encounter
