Appeal Committee of the All Progressives Congress APC says it is yet to receive any petition from loyalists of former governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun or any other aggreived members, challenging the conduct of the October 16, 2021 Ogun State Congress of the party
Chairman of the committee, Hon.Patrick Obahiagbon who made this known while addressing newsmen in Abeokuta during its first meeting on Tuesday as at 12:30pm, also said no petition had been sent to the APC National Secretariat in Abuja against the Congress in the state
"We have been sitting here as members of the APC Appeal Committee since 10am till 12:30pm no petition recieved so far as regards the conduct of the Ogun State Congress and we are also in constant touch with National Secretariat of our party, no petition had been sent to the party from the state", the committee stated
The committee made it clear that it would not close its door, to hearing petition from the former governor's camp who conducted parallel State Congress, assuring every member of the party of fair hearing till 12noon of Wednesday, October 27, when entertaining petition would be closed
The committee which has Barrister Chiwuba as secretary, Hon.Muazu Rajau ,Mr. Aboge Olaleye and Hon.Jubrin Akowe as members, described the crisis as a family affairs that would be resolved amicably
