Ten out of the remaining 31 abducted students of the Bethel Baptist High school, Damishi, Kaduna have regained their freedom, after 76days in captivity
Kaduna State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. Joseph Hayab, announced the release of the third batch of ten students at a news conference on Saturday evening.
Edu-Biznews recalled that second batch of 32 of the abducted students were released by their abductors on August 27,in addition to the earlier first batch of 58, which brought the figure to 90
With the recent development, the total number of released students so far, has now increased to 100
According to the State CAN Chairman ,the released students have been reunited with their parents.
Hayab however failed to disclose the amount paid as ransom to the Kidnappers who are still holding on to the remaining 21students
The bandits had in the early hour of July 5, invaded the school and kidnapped 121 students of the school
